An extraordinary guest ranch with outstanding views across the Fraser River Valley, Echo Valley Ranch & Spa sits in the midst of one of the most beautiful and distinct destinations on earth.

Surrounded by forests of scented jack pine, awe-inspiring canyons and mountain ranges, the ranch provides luxurious accommodation, wilderness adventures and a more than a touch of Thai with gracious hospitality and a Thai-inspired spa.

Owners of Echo Valley Ranch & Spa, Norm and Nan Dove, are English and Thai respectively which accounts for the unusual blend of ‘cowboy meets Eastern exoticism’ that is prevalent throughout the ranch.

The stunning Baan Thai Spa was built by a Thai architect – an intriguing sight in the midst of the Cariboo region, and comes complete with authentic Thai therapists.

In between trail rides on horseback throughout Echo Valley Ranch’s 160 acres, relieve your aches and pains with a special relaxation treatment in either the Thai-style or Western Spa.

Then go bird-watching, with up to 170 species in and around the ranch.

In the evening, dine in the informal surrounds of the Dove Lodge dining room where the cuisine is as diverse as the ranch’s buildings.

Echo Valley Ranch & Spa can accomodate up to 52 guests in its two guests lodges, cabins and the Baan Thai Suite.

All meals are included during a stay at Echo Valley.  Echo Valley’s Master Chef prepares meals in an open kitchen using fresh produce picked from the ranch’s vegetable and herb garden, as well local meats and poultry. Dinning al fresco is a weekly event when the Chef takes up residence at the outdoor kitchen and produces gourmet fare that goes way beyond a cowboy cookout. The ranche’s wine list features the best of BC wines.

Echo Valley offers a full range of Western-style and traditional Thai treatments. The Thai spa, housed in the traditional Baan Thai spa pavilion, indulges guests with ancient Thai treatments such as Thai massage, Thai Foot Massage and hot compress treatment, as well as body masques, body polishes and body scrubs.   The Cariboo Spa offers classic European treatments – Swedish massage, and stress relief massage, hydrotherapy and spa body therapies that use mineral salts, seaweed and mud wrap, as well as facials, manicures and hair care.
