This year give a gift made in Canada, for Canadians by Canadians

Every December, Vancouver celebrates the

holidays with fabulous light shows.

Like Stanley Park’s Bright Nights and Canada

Place’s On the Sails, VanDusen Botanical Garden’s

Festival of Lights is a don’t-miss holiday event

that’s fun for everyone, especially kids.

At the Festival of Lights, VanDusen transforms

itself from a serene botanical oasis into a winter

wonderland.

Millions of colourful lights are strewn around

flower beds, trees, shrubs and decorations,

combining to create an awesome spectacle

Visitors to the Festival of Light can stroll through

Getting to the Festival of Lights: For drivers,

there’s a free parking lot at the garden entrance.

Last night as I watched the CBC National News I

was overwhelmed with what I think is a very

important message and it is about ROOTS

CANADA and the ROOTS VILLAGE BAG, but

more important it is about Canadians like you

and me.

Did you know that over 67% of the clothes we wear

come from outside of Canada.

The Roots Village Bag is made 100% here in Canada

and by the time it reaches you, whether by a

Canadian Delivery person or a Canadian

Retailperson, 63 Canadians will seen this through to

completion.

At Roots Canada all their people work in groups

so they are all intsrumental in seeing each of their

products to the completion.

Roots have been told several time that they should

outsource to other countries as it would be much

cheaper but they have remained true to their”Roots”

and stayed in Canada.
